Not many of our new readers go back in the archives of the Forum where we have hundreds of success stories, motivational pieces and training articles. So we are going to start a weekly “From the Archives” for different topics. Here are links to some of the best success stories we have published on the Forum:

ETL India Declared Code Red Today!

Code Red was declared today at the Managers Conference in Bangalore! And the team committed to make up for the lost target of the year during this last quarter.

Over 40 managers from all over India joined the 3-day event where they review, commit, plan and learn from each other. Today’s meeting was also followed by a very exciting evening of work-related team games. Check out the photos by clicking any from the column on the left.

10k in 10 days!

India had their best 10 days ever with 10k units! Anu and team are going after breaking their best ever of 19.7k of August 2007.

A role model for every manager: Anu Talati from India!

Not many people have climbed the ladder of career and success with ETL quite like Anu – from a Sales Consultant to Director of Sales & Marketing in ten years! Anu worked as Client Servicing Manager in an advertising agency before she became a full-time mom. She bought Time Life products when her son was six years.

When she was offered the opportunity by her sales consultant, she was quite skeptic. But she soon became very successful at selling due to her passion and personal experience with the products. And then there was no looking back.

As her children grew older, she was able to give more and more time to her job. Within a couple of years, she was running a successful team as a Unit Manager. Soon she got promoted as the Branch Manager for Bangalore due to her excellent leadership – and Bangalore has been one of the top areas ever since. Due to her excellent track record, she was promoted as the Regional Manager South (looking after five branch offices) when ETL took over the management of India in 2002. Over the next five years, Anu grew from Regional Manager to National Sales Manager, and then the Director of Sales & Marketing.

One of Anu’s biggest strength is building people – she has a team of 45 managers across India! Sales have grown by 100% over the last five years, and continues to grow! Anyone would envy her lifestyle, and her work-home balance is an example for any successful executive. Here she is seen with her new SUV. She attributes her success to “a passion for the opportunity and products, complete focus on goals, building people and achieving solid growth”.

Regardless of where you are, and what position you hold today, you can also do what Anu has done: make the best of the ETL opportunity!
