The most famous attraction of the Blue Mountains are The Three Sisters which are over 3000 feet above sea level! The Australians have a very interesting legend about these Sisters, claiming that these used to be 3 beautiful young ladies who fell in love with 3 men from a different tribe. This caused a major tribal battle and these three sisters were turned into stone to protect them from any harm. However, the person in charge of turning them to stone died before he could reverse the spell and so they remain there till today in their magnificent rock formation as a reminder of this battle.

• The ladies team in Dubai has not only become one of the best teams in the Gulf, but in Asia. This small team of five SCs developed by Ketaki, and now managed by Kanchan, has been consistently averaging 2,000 units a month. In February, they were the best team with 2,200 units from just six SCs!
• Four top sellers of February: Sarah from Dubai did 951 units; June, Julius and Arnold from Riyadh did 855, 584 and 543 units, respectively! That was almost 2,000 units from the small team of three in Riyadh! For June, this was the third month in the company, and the 855 units came from just 20 dems and 13 orders!
• What’s the secret? A few actually:
  • Extensive one-on-one training to teach the proper dem before a new recruit starts
  • Daily role-play and reinforcement to help SCs master the dem [all three area managers I met had been downloading the training videos every night, and watching and role-playing with their teams every morning]
  • Dems only given to parents with kids under the age of six, and usually to both parents together in the evenings and weekends
  • Most importantly, they use the same sales kit with the same method and script – no variation, no localization.

All of this may not be applicable to other sales team, but there’s a lot to be learned from their focused and disciplined approach!

Over the years, Joseph has trained and developed many leaders in the Gulf, including Anwer Naushath who manages UAE and Oman. Joseph is currently managing Kuwait and Qatar, but continues to lead from the front. During January, he visited the team in Qatar and personally sold 540 units in 10 days! Now, that’s leading by example – making it impossible for anyone in the team to come up with any excuses.

In December, she achieved group sales of 758 units (363 personal and 395 from recruits)! And in January, she was in the top five UMs with 4 active salespeople and 1121 units from the team (452 personal and 669 from recruits)!

In Thailand, salespeople can choose to follow any of the three models, or sometimes a combination of: seminar sales, exhibition sales, home dems through appointments or cold calling. Tavanrat prefers home dems, mostly through cold calling (door knocks) in the upcountry. She says, this way she can choose her prospects. She aims for 5 dems and 1 order every day, and loves to sell CFL and ET. Her motto: “Make today your best day!”

Did you know that The Taronga Zoo opened in 1916 and this 26-hectare park is home to more than 2,600 animals and is one of the world’s most modern zoos! Taronga Zoo offers many wonderful tours to see the unique animals, but in my opinion the best one seems to be the Twilight Tour! This tour starts one hour before sunset and ends in darkness after the zoo has closed for regular visitors! According to all the info the Koalas, Kangaroos, Wallabies, Platypus and all other unique animals are most active at dusk and dawn, so you can catch them out at the best time with this tour! Which animal would YOU like to see the most?!
