• ‘Suspecting’: reaching out to strangers around you and finding out if they may be prospects
• Cold-calling: knocking on doors, or calling up from phone lists
• Referrals: collecting names after every dem – whether or not the person has bought
• Displays/exhibitions: small displays set up purely for collecting names
• Customer relations: keeping in touch with your customers for ongoing collection of names – through visits, calls, emails, social media.
• Print ads: small personal ads in newspapers and magazines
• Social media: promoting your products through Facebook and other social media
• School projects: reaching out to parents through schools – and there are many different ways
• Collecting contact lists from targeted sources e.g. new births, new admissions in Kindergartens, kids’ clubs, kids learning centers etc.

Not all methods are relevant and practical in every market due to local regulations and company strategies. But see if you can add any of the above to your current methods and sources of prospecting. Do talk to your manager before starting on any of the new ideas. Most importantly, do not compromise on your daily dems to go after a big prospecting project.

• ETL India was #1 with almost 19k units, with 161 new recruits and 236 total actives! They have just overtaken Minor (Thailand) in the race for the Asia Pacific Cup, though with a small difference!
• Minor team (Thailand) achieved over 18k units, with 180 actives and a high productivity of 4! They continue to be the YTD champion for highest sales.
• Learning Time (Gulf) was the most efficient team with almost 9k units from a small team of 46! YTD 2nd runner-up in highest sales.
• Smart Kids (Hong Kong) achieved 6k units – 4.5k during a 7-day book fair! Indonesia cross 5k units again, and Sri Lanka achieved almost 5k too!
• Individual top sellers were Veera from Thailand with 1262 units, Sara from Gulf with 1080 and Sana from Pakistan with 840! All three are competing for the championship, with just two more months to go. You may see the full awards updates here.
