If They Can, So Can You!

During the last couple of weeks, we posted stories and information about the top five salespeople in the region. Here’s a summary of their dems, orders and units:

There are always two attitudes towards any success story. One is that of ‘disconnect’ – they can do it because… and I can’t do it because e.g. Renay must be lucky; Sarah must be selling to rich Arabs in Dubai; in Indonesia and Thailand they have local language products etc. etc. This attitude prevents us from any pressure to perform; it gives us a justification for our mediocre performance.

The other attitude is ‘if they can, so can I’. When we take this attitude, we focus on what can we learn from the success of others. We look at their inputs that produced the amazing outputs. From these champions, I have learnt that Motivation plays an important role, can be our spouse or our sales manager or individual’s ambitions but the great Motivator is attractive incentives and awards offered by ETL and distributors that can inspire every salesperson to produce more success stories. Customer’s testimonals can also movitate a salesperson to secure more orders too.

    I feel that knowing our products well is very important as together with good sales training can also lead to success in sales.

  2. Hi ! Mush as you rightly said it’s our attitude, work is the same. What i have learnt is that i should be more focused on giving my BEST at every dem n orders n success will definately follow. Also what i learnt is even if we get small orders but these together will lead us to a big number.
