From an Architect to a District Manager!
Sonal joined ETL India in 2001 when she purchased the products for her 2-year old. A qualified architect, she was on a 2-year sabbatical from work and was tempted by the flexible hours. She quickly learnt selling and recruiting; graduated to a Unit Manager in just six months and then became District manager in 2004.
Sonal has been the top UM and now top DM of India for more than three years; she has qualified for every convention since Cebu. She has built a team of four UMs, including the Top UM of India. During 2007-08, she had 120 new recruits and 22,000 units in her district! On the personal front, she contributed significantly in enhancing her family’s lifestyle and investments. And by her own admission she has developed a tremendous amount of confidence in herself.
Her future ambition in ETL is to stay at the top, build a larger team and develop many more UMs. “There is no limit to how many people you can recruit and develop”, she says. And she continues to work on her dream of building a beautiful villa with a garden. She also wishes to give her son a higher education at a university of his choice. With her planning, organizing and people skills, and a commitment to her goals, she is sure to realize her dreams!
